Alison Krauss, born in Decatur, Illinois on 23 July 1971, is a well-known and wealthy Country Singer. LeAnne Kymes was also among the two most recent Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss, born 23rd July 1971, is an American singer and musician. Her career began in the music industry as a child, when she was just 10 years old. In 1985 she was signed with Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. She was also invited to the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. Then, in 1989 her debut solo album came out in conjunction with the band.
